Well, we are another major step closer to making this all “official.” On Friday, yes Friday the 13th, we drove over to Indio, CA to get our marriage license. After a week of Kim being sick, this was a great “glad you’re better” trip. While it was a lot of driving for one day, as we went there and back, it was so worth it. Scott took many photos to document this important date, and to show how VERY excited Kim was through the whole process. This picture is of us outside of the County Clerk’s Office with the Marriage License in hand.

This was a great day!

While the ceremony is extremely important to us and our relationship, Scott and I decided we would be having a more untraditional focal point for family and friends to look forward to. With that being said, our reception is the main event for us, as this is where we will be celebrating with all our friends and family. We would never have been able to have everyone who means something to us at our ceremony so that played the major role in our decision to have the reception be what we highlight.
